Incident at Kg. Jias, Gua Musang

The Kampung Jias Story

The newly completed Church built by the Orang Asli (Aborigines) themselves on their own traditional land in Kg. Jias, Gua Musang, Kelantan (under PAS-an Islamic political party) was demolished by the local authority in the morning of 4th.June 2007 causing hurts and dissatisfaction. The Aborigines were surprised that the local Government went to the extent of breaking the Law of Malaysia.

Special Worship Service at site of demolished church

The hatred and vengeance of the Orang Asli (Aborigines) for the religious fanatics in the PAS government was glaring. Immediately, we held a worship service to our Lord with joyful praises and prayed that God will comfort these grieved brethren and He did.

Drowning and resurrection of Deresa

Deresa

Deresa, the son of the headman of Kg. Regang was drowned. 12 witnesses were present to testify this event. But God was merciful to the headman and the villagers by resurrecting Deresa. The villagers in those area were under great persecution and oppression. This event built up the faith of all the brethren in those area.
